A family owned and operated establishment, Rooftops Restaurant is an out-of-the-way place with an out-of-the-way style, located in Historic Downtown Hays. This is Chestnut Street dining at its finest.Rooftops is open for lunch Monday-Friday 11:00-2:00, dinner Monday-Saturday 5:00-10:00 and closed on Sunday's and major holidays. A fine private dining and meeting room is also available for groups from 10-60 by reservation only.
Rooftops hosts a full lunch menu with a fresh salad bar, delicious sandwiches and great burgers. We also have daily specials for both lunch and dinner that are highlighted with our famous, one of a kind, homemade soup of the day.
From our veal and seafood entrees to our award winning dry aged steaks and prime rib, Rooftops features a diverse menu with many tastes. We also have great appetizers such as our own crab cakes and spinach dip to our superior desserts such as the flame roasted apple tart or the fudge lava cake. We also offer specially made food for those with dietary needs. For that perfect finishing touch we sport a full service bar with an array of after dinner cordials.
